COEUR D’AMOUR
BLANDINE ROBIN & DELPHINE LANZA - ILLUSTRATION D'ALBERTINE
Big feelings from a child’s perspective
Cœur d’amour is a story – sung, narrated, and illustrated – a journey into the world of emotions expressed through the words of children.
In the waiting room of a hospital, a little girl is there with her father. It’s night. They are waiting for the arrival of a little sister or brother. She wonders about love and what this event will change in her life. She hugs her stuffed cuddly tightly and asks her dad questions. Then she lays her head on his lap, falls asleep, and begins to dream…
Created by Delphine Lanza and Blandine Robin (who were present Le Tout Doux last season), and accompanied by Genevoise illustrator Albertine, this performance for the very young combines theatre, drawing, song, and video to explore how children experience love. And even though this adventure begins when we are very small, the feelings are no less immense and powerful.
