When rave meets dancehall

The head of the most hip electro label in French-speaking Switzerland collects a respect-worthy number of hats.

In his many lives, he has been, one after the other (or all at once), a programmer at Zoo/Usine in Geneva, then at the Electron Festival, a booker, host of the podcast La Sélection on Tsugi Radio, producer, and DJ. Quite the résumé!

With Dancehall Rave, Schnautzi opens a new chapter: a sonic manifesto where basslines engage directly with the body. Inspired by the steamy underground clubs of the 90’s, 7″ and 12″ vinyl, and the legacy of Jamaican diasporas, the project blurs the lines between dub, dancehall, and techno.

On stage, the dancers led by Kevin Table enter a trance illuminated by Jessica Champlaine’s visuals. It’s a total space where sound becomes movement and movement becomes light.

Before the performance, Kevin Table welcomes any and all to an electro dance workshop.
