PAIN MAGAZINE + ECKHART

CONCERT

Liturgy of chaos

Born from a collision as improbable as it was electrifying, Pain Magazine fuses the worlds of post-hardcore and industrial techno. This unexpected project unites three forces from the alternative scene: the caustic guitars of Birds in Row, the feverish machines of the electro duo Maelstrom, and the incandescent voice of Louisahhh. From this head-on impact emerged Violent God, a debut album produced and recorded in just sixteen days – a true distillation of urgency and tension. Between faith and fury, worship and rebellion, Pain Magazine transforms turmoil into pure energy. It sweats, it relentlessly clashes – punk rage meets the precision of the beats. In short, a spiritual and redemptive liturgy of chaos.

Opening the evening, Eckhart conjures a dense and visceral electro-punk soundscape. The dark and mystical textures of the Vaudois musicians are true electronic mantras, where trance flirts with meditation.

A gust of rebellion for electrified bodies – this concert promises to land like a well-aimed uppercut.

Radio Vostok talks about it: “Whether you’re from Australia, Bern, or neighboring France, get ready for a real sonic shock. Pain Magazine has released Violent God, a groundbreaking album of rare power, on Hummus Records. Pain Magazine is the missing link between punk and electro—imagine Kompromat with The Young Gods. This supergroup brings together Louisaah and Maelstrom, from the world of experimental techno, and three members of Birds in Row: Quentin Sauvé, Bart Hirigoyen, and Joris Saidani. Together, they deliver a phenomenally rich album that is at once dark, dense, and liberating.” To read the full article: click here!
