elie zoé + LOUIS JUCKER SUITCASE SUITE (solo) + PRUNE CARMEN DIAZ
Three Craftspeople of Sensitivity
Fans of moments on the edge and of soul-baring sincerity, this 100% Humus Records evening is for you. Three worlds follow one another, connected by the same artisanal, raw, and sensitive spirit. The sensory journey begins with Prune Carmen Diaz and the songs from her debut album, Disobedience. A self-taught artist from the visual arts, she crafts timeless pop wrapped in vintage keyboards, reverberated organs, and distorted drums. Special mention goes to the throbbing “Arcadia”, whose melody leaves a lasting mark.
To follow is the DIY magician Louis Jucker with his Suitcase Suite Solo, a ritual of sonic crafting guided by the grace of gesture. From this universe of suitcase-instruments, makeshift creations, and repurposed objects, carried by his fevered singing, he shapes a raw yet crystalline folk live on stage.
elie zoé closes this beautiful odyssey with Shifting Forms, a rebirth album where each track explores transition, change of state, and the necessity of redefining the singer’s relationship with the world and with their own voice. The record is a collection of nine tracks in a pop vein with minimal instrumentation and a rock aesthetic – the contact point between a caress and a scream.
