Hens too cramped in their coop, an old tired dog, a pig that’s been overfed, or a solitary wolf – all dreaming of a different life. In la zone nono, the Tête dans le sac – marionnettes company takes both young and old on a journey through a musical tragicomedy where puppets and musicians invent a different possible world.

This parade of animals struggles between the ‘inside’ – the reassuring world of the domesticated – and the ‘outside’, the wild world that brings fear. Some refuse their predestined fate and break free, driven by a desire for freedom. Together, they embark on a quest for the mysterious zone nono, an untouched territory, free from human occupation, where laws other than those of the jungle might prevail: those of solidarity and sharing. Manipulated by just two puppeteers, these funny and fragile creatures come to life, singing and uniting as they go on their passionate adventure. la zone nono is a musical fable full of humor and emotion that invites us to transform dissonance into harmony.
