Run baby run

A choreography with a father, a mother, and their daughter – all three dancers – explore what is passed down from one generation to the next.

What is a family? A fixed structure or a fluid, chosen constellation? This is the starting point of Run Baby Run, the new creation by Marco Delgado and Nadine Fuchs, joined on stage by their daughter, Lili-Marlo, 19, a dancer and emerging visual artist, and her lifelong friend Sam, a composer and musician.

A family affair with the intention of questioning the dynamics of heritage and their transmission – those things which are not always taught, but which settle in our bodies, choices, and unspoken words.Together, the two generations open a space of movements and silences, where music sets the rhythm their bodies follow. A performance at the intersection of dance and visual arts, where the intimate is shared openly.
