ALIOSE sings LE FORESTIER - Complet

CONCERT

The Breath of Aliose in Le Forestier’s Words

It’s a story of musical affinities that blossomed into friendship. In 2011, Alizé Oswald and Xavier Michel crossed paths with Maxime Le Forestier, sharing a love for simple words and timeless melodies. From this connection arose a lasting bond. A few years later, the singer invited them to open for him at l’Olympia.

Today, the Romand duo pays tribute to this benevolent mentor in a show that is both understated and elegant. Two voices, one guitar, a string trio, and projections – nothing more is needed to revisit a repertoire that spans generations and eras without ever gathering dust. An original song, born from the pens of all three, seals this meeting of souls.

“Aliose combines the simplicity of true pop songs with a certain sophistication and inspired lyrics. The duo also captivates us vocally with their softness, sensuality, and virtuosity.” Francebleu.fr

ALIOSE AND MAXIME LE FORESTIER

In 2011, the Swiss duo Aliose met Maxime Le Forestier. A leading figure in French music since the 1970s, the artist is one of Alizé Oswald and Xavier Michel’s sources of inspiration. All three share the same taste for finely crafted lyrics, the same attention to melody, and a concerned view of the state of the world.

While in 1972 Georges Brassens offered the young Maxime his first opening act at Bobino, Maxime Le Forestier allowed Aliose to open his concert at the Olympia in 2014.
